Board of Assessors Meeting Minutes
July 26, 2005

Business:
Read and approved the minutes from June meeting.
Jackie Bitso attended briefly in order to obtain copies of her Real Estate abatements and any information pertaining to the Board’s decisions
Granted and signed four Motor Vehicle abatements and Treasurer form.
Reviewed and voted final overlay figures
Jessica made Board aware that the request to carry over the $102.04 from FY05 Assessor Expense to FY06 Assessor Clerk was not valid as the amounts can not cross accounts.
Jessica presented a copy of a letter sent to Larry Hurd about receiving information from the Conservation Committee about dock survey at Otis Reservoir. She has also been in contact with Michael Girvan at the DEP who promises an exchange of information. Jessica created and sent a spreadsheet on Map/Lot and Property Owner info for Otis Reservoir.
Jessica presented the draft for a computer use policy. She will present the policy again at the August meeting for a vote.
Jessica presented draft of a form to indicate to Health Department and Building Inspector when we see a home has too many bedrooms and unclaimed living quarters are found. Corrections were suggested and she will resubmit the form for vote at the August meeting.
